Lately, more and more interesting sets have been appearing for LEGO and Formula 1 fans. From large Technic F1 cars to Speed Champions models. Now, rumors are also circulating about something new: LEGO helmets of famous Formula 1 drivers. And that immediately raises the question that many Dutch fans have: will there also be a LEGO helmet of Max Verstappen?
New LEGO F1 helmets on the way?
According to various LEGO leaks and fan websites, LEGO is expected to release a new series of display models in 2026 featuring Formula 1 helmets of famous drivers. This collection would include helmets from Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, among others. Max Verstappen's name also appears on some lists.
The sets would be similar to existing LEGO display helmets, such as the Star Wars and Marvel helmets. Think of a detailed model that you build and then display as decoration on a desk, shelf, or in a display case.
What do we know so far?
Although LEGO itself has not yet officially confirmed anything, early product lists indicate that a possible Max Verstappen helmet would contain around 880 bricks. A suggested retail price of approximately €89.99 is also mentioned, comparable to other collectible sets in this category.
If these rumors are true, the set would likely be based on Verstappen's recognizable helmet design with the orange, blue, and white colors that fans instantly recognize.
Why a Verstappen helmet would make sense
Max Verstappen's popularity naturally plays a big role here. The Dutchman is now one of the most famous names in Formula 1 and has a huge fanbase worldwide. Moreover, LEGO is increasingly collaborating with Formula 1, for example with Technic models of F1 cars and Speed Champions sets of teams such as Red Bull Racing.
A display helmet of Verstappen would therefore fit well within that collaboration.
Still a wait and see
For now, it remains mere rumors. LEGO has not yet made an official announcement, nor have any definitive images of the possible set appeared. Nevertheless, the initial leaks show that there is plenty of interest among fans.
For LEGO, F1, and motorsport enthusiasts, a Verstappen helmet in LEGO form would be a nice addition to a collection of F1 models or scale cars.
