This time, the honour goes to the Swedish Koenigsegg with the introduction of the LEGO Technic 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear. With this impressive scale model, the legendary brand from Ängelholm makes its debut in this prestigious series for adult collectors.

The largest Technic Ultimate Car model ever
When the set is officially released on July 1, 2026, it will immediately break a record within the series. With no less than 4104 parts, this Koenigsegg is the largest Ultimate Car LEGO has produced to date in terms of brick count, surpassing the previous McLaren P1. Despite the increase in complexity and details, the recommended retail price in the LEGO Shop remains at 449.99 euros.
The model features a predominantly black colour scheme with copper-coloured accents and a contrasting orange interior. The exterior exudes pure speed thanks to the aggressive lines and the prominent, fixed rear wing that perfectly mimics the aerodynamic shape of the real track legend. To keep the flowing bodywork as sleek as possible, high-quality printed parts have been chosen at this scale instead of separate stickers, giving the model a very realistic appearance.
Complex mechanics under the bodywork
Underneath the black panels lies a masterpiece of mechanical engineering. As we are accustomed to with these high-end building sets, the car is equipped with a functional gearbox, independent wheel suspension on all four corners, and working steering. Under the rear hood is a detailed replica of the twin-turbo V8 engine, whose pistons actually move up and down as soon as the model is in motion.
