The sound of roaring engines, the smell of burning rubber, and gleaming bodywork on the starting grid. For anyone with a warm heart for motorsport, the weekend of Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2, 2026, is a fixed date in the calendar. The famous TT Circuit Assen will once again host Jack's Casino Racing Day. This free event is the largest combined car, motorcycle, and karting event in Europe. The great news for collectors and car enthusiasts: Boldons will also be present at the event this year.
Three days full of on-track action
During the weekend, a packed program is scheduled on the famous Drenthe heath. Friday, July 31, from 09:00 onwards, will mainly be dedicated to free practice sessions and qualifications. On Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, the gates will open as early as 07:30, and the arena will erupt with official races and spectacular demonstrations.
On the track, you will see impressive classes pass by. Think of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and the Supercar Challenge, where brutal GT cars and prototypes battle wheel-to-wheel. Formula car enthusiasts can indulge in the Interserie F1 and iconic demonstrations with classic Formula 1 cars. Additionally, during the Supercar Society demonstrations, rare hypercars will appear on the asphalt, including the Koenigsegg Jesko.
Why this event triggers car enthusiasts and builders
For collectors of scale models and building kits, a visit to the circuit is always a source of recognition and inspiration. Seeing streamlined spoilers, wide wheel arches, and striking race liveries immediately sparks the urge to grab one's own collection at home. Many elements you see driving on the track in Assen, such as Porsches, Formula 1 cars, and iconic brand designs, you will immediately recognize in detailed LEGO Speed Champions sets or rare Hot Wheels editions.
The difference between admiring a real race car in the pit lane and meticulously building a miniature version on your own desk is surprisingly small. In both cases, it's about the passion for technology, aerodynamics, and sleek design.
Visit the Boldons stand
Amidst the action on the track, the paddock is the place where visitors can get up close to the technology. Boldons will also be present here this weekend with its own stand. It's the ideal place to catch up on cars, your latest builds, and how to stylishly present your own collection.
At our stand, we show you how to give built scale models and collectible figures the place they deserve. Instead of parking your built cars in a shelving unit, you can mount them on the wall. With our wall mounts for Lego cars, you can give larger building sets a dynamic angle on the wall. If you have a growing collection that requires an organized display, you can view our display rails for Hot Wheels directly at our stand.
Will we see you in Assen?
Whether you come for the roaring engines, the unique supercars, or simply a fun weekend out with like-minded people: Jack's Casino Racing Day is the meeting point for everyone with petrol in their veins. Feel free to visit the Boldons stand in the paddock during the weekend to get inspiration for your own race-themed wall at home.
