Are you enjoying building a CaDA set, only to discover a part is missing? That's annoying, but fortunately, it's easy to fix. You can request missing bricks for free through CaDA's official website, and they will be sent directly to you from the manufacturer.
In this article, we explain step-by-step how the request process works.
Free service from the manufacturer
It's important to know that ordering missing parts for a purchased set is a free service. While you can buy individual bricks on the CaDA website, for missing parts from a purchased set, you need to use the special service portal.
Step-by-step plan: Requesting new CaDA parts
1. Create an account on the CaDA site
Go to the official CaDA website and create an account. During registration, you will enter a verification code sent to your email address.
2. Choose the correct category
After logging in, you will arrive at the homepage. On the left side, choose the option CaDA Bricks (for the building sets).
3. Upload proof of purchase
CaDA wants to verify that you actually purchased the set. This doesn't have to be purchased directly from CaDA itself. If you ordered the set from us, simply upload a file or screenshot of your invoice or order confirmation. After uploading, click Next step.
Please note: The website may sometimes take a while to load. Do not refresh the page prematurely, otherwise you will have to start over.
4. Enter the set number
In the next step, enter the specific set number of your building set. This number is on the box and always starts with a C and ends with a W (e.g., C61515W).
5. Find the specific part number
Once the set is loaded, you will see the overview of parts. To find the exact brick:
-
Scroll all the way to the back of your set's instruction booklet.
-
Find the missing brick in the parts list.
-
Each part has a unique serial number (e.g., JH503001).
-
Enter this number in the search bar on the site and select the correct quantity using the plus sign.
6. Enter address details and confirm
Finally, enter your address details. Fill in the country name field in English (e.g., Netherlands or Belgium), as the request will be processed by CaDA's international customer service. Click Confirm & submit order.
Processing and delivery time
After submitting the request, CaDA checks the details and proof of purchase. Since the parts are processed and shipped directly by the manufacturer, the average delivery time is between 8 and 10 business days.
In your account environment on the CaDA site, you can track the status of your request under your profile and view the Track & Trace code once the package has been shipped.
