If you're a fan of LEGO Speed Champions, you know that the line has gotten more serious in recent years. More details, wider eight-stud build style, and most importantly, increasingly interesting car brands. From Ferrari and Porsche to McLaren and even movie cars. But one brand is still notably missing from the lineup: Cadillac.
And that raises the question that many car enthusiasts and collectors are asking: will there ever be a LEGO Speed Champions Cadillac?
Why Cadillac would make sense
Cadillac is making a strong comeback in the performance and motorsport world. Think of the Cadillac V Series.R competing in endurance races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans and IMSA. Additionally, Cadillac is also expected to join Formula 1 from 2026. This suddenly makes the brand a lot more relevant for a younger target audience.
LEGO often capitalizes on current motorsport trends. So the chance of them translating a modern Cadillac race car into a Speed Champions set is not unrealistic.
Which models are likely candidates?
If a set were to be released, these models would be the most obvious choices:
Cadillac V Series.R
Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing
A classic Cadillac, for example from the 1950s, would also be interesting, but Speed Champions usually focuses on performance and race cars.
For collectors of LEGO Speed Champions and enthusiasts of American performance cars, this would be a logical addition to the collection.
What does LEGO say?
Officially, LEGO has not yet announced anything about a collaboration with Cadillac. However, we see that the brand is increasingly collaborating with new car manufacturers. Think of recent additions of brands that were not previously in the Speed Champions line.
That doesn't mean a Cadillac set is coming, but it's certainly not a crazy idea to keep an eye on this.
